Carlos Vela looks up for it this season. A first half brace against Colorado.

Vela with 2 goals already. LAFC better ride him while they still have him. His contract expires in the summer and he says he wants to go back to Europe.

He’s playing for a La Liga contract make no doubt about it

3 for Vela now. He is so fun to watch when he is healthy.

Vela has ALWAYS feasted on early season defences - just surprised Colorado has been this bad.

Jozy is about to come on for New England. Hope he gets a goal on his first touch.

Yimi Chara with a bicycle kick to tie the game. 2-2. MLS is back

Alex Pato proves he still exists by scoring against Montreal to make it 1-0 for Orlando.

Montreal looks (mostly) good defensively but toothless up top and Yanyama moves like a cruise ship.

Orlando definitely looks like a threat to win the East this year. Just got a ton of depth that most MLS teams lack.

Dom Dwyer actually scored a goal.

That was a really good move. Wish he could have done that last season...

He has actually been really good since coming on.

edwards starting at lb against defending champs...at least he has douglas costa in front of him...lets see if they can go at the young gray and do damage...make playoffs or bye bye season for vanney

You guys know I dislike nostalgia, but watching Delgado and Vazquez playing a game together in midfield (and playing very well) with Vanney roaming the sidelines makes me feel just a tad sad.

Watching some highlights from European leagues and comparing the officiating quality… MLS is shocking.

Newcastle - Brentford, player crashes through the back of the attacker. Goes to VAR, red card shown. From what I’ve seen this weekend, I don’t think a MLS ref would even have gone to their book.

LAG - NYCFC, LA player pulls down a NYCFC player away from the ball by his head from behind (and you really have to see the clip to understand how out of place it was) Kevin Stott doesn’t think it qualifies as violent contact and everybody continues on.

MLS really has a crisis on their hands.

That LAG winner reminded me of Seba's goal to win the Voyageurs back in 2017.

Not quite the same but...same feeling.

Its like our minds get the Men In Black Neuralyzer treatment immediately after MLS Cup, then are all shocked with the officiating standards when MLS resumes.

Okello had his arm yanked back as we was breaking away from a defender, turned his upper bode sideways, no card! In EPL, especially in the 2nd half, that's a guaranteed yellow tactical foul.

I guess his Cdn work visa specifically did not allow him to score goals.

Early days, but Delgado looks back to his old self at LAG. Covering ground, breaking up attacks and even creating chances. Of course Charlotte kind of sucks too.

Alvarez with an absolute banger to give LAG a late lead.
