All game times are kickoff as per MLS website

Games in red are worth watching in my opinion for one reason or another - YMMV

Wednesday

Montreal @ Inter Miami 7:38pm - Both teams with decent enough defences. Inter has more talent in offence but can't put the ball in the net

NER @ Philly 7:38pm - Philly has 2 losses at home but NER is not a good away team. If Philly is to contend like they did last year, games like this at home are a must win.

SKC @ Houston 8:38pm - Not much to think about in this game. 2 grinding teams. Skim the highlights for something good.

Vancouver @ Minnesota 9:11pm - Loons have been bad in defence & in attack. A chance for Vancouver to get some away points (they have been good "at home" in Utah)

Seattle @ San Jose 10:38pm - San Jose is fun to watch, especially their kids & Wondo in the last 20 minutes is always a treat. Seattle though is just plain good...again

Thursday

Chicago @ DCU 8:08pm - DCU is banged up, a lot of due to training being too strenous & a coach who won't let up. The Fire is a defensive mess.

I didn't realize we were the Scarlets. Might need a rebrand.

on a side note: week 4 we saw Colorado vs Minnesota (i caught a few minutes of it on DAZN) boy those colors were awful to watch, very hard to tell them apart..maybe I was just tired and it was late at night though https://www.mlssoccer.com/news/kit-matchups-what-your-club-is-wearing-for-mls-week-4

Jeez, this Bjorn Johnsen guy, 6 foot 5 with wheels and good touch... what a signing. Both Montreal goals were beauties.

I believe he scored a shit ton in Korea before MLS. He's half American but already capped for Norway. Just a really astute signing.

Not much Asian scouting or signing going on in MLS since the Chinese league ramped it up; given the troubles there you'd think that would change. Surprised we don't have more J-League players here, given the similar sort of quality.

Also man, Gonzalez Perez really got schooled on both goals.
