View Full Version : Season Seat Holder packages out for delivery ( :

Its that time of year we all wait for, season seat holder packages have begun to be sent out for delivery ( :, I know the tickets are digital this year but the scarves etc are on the move. So as we always discuss what part of the city and beyond are you in and have you received your yet.

One change up this year is that they are not requiring signature confirmation up delivery, fedex can just leave it on your door step etc, hopefully this does not cause any issues and everyone gets there packages. I assume some will not with MLSE doing it this way. Onward to the 2020 season.

A nice black & red scarf, with a bit of spandex so you can pull down on it when frustrated.

&

A booklet telling you to use the app for everything.

I saw the notification on my phone that it had been delivered, then walked downstairs and there is was, sitting outside my front door.

It makes sense that they can just leave it now, as its only a box of fabric, and not potentially thousands of dollars of tickets.

And side note - it was fedex, not purolator like in the past. Thank goodness!

Okay last thing.... anyone else feel the scarf is slightly reminiscent of Greg Vanneys lucky scarf?

If there are any people out there, heaven forbid, who live without a "smart"phone in 2020:

Here is response I got about getting into a game if you don't have one ... "M***" is person whose name the tickets are under.

FYI:

>>Hi there,

If you do not have access to a smartphone and will be attending a game without M***, we can have your tickets printed and left at will call the day of the game.

If you find you are attending a game in 2020 without M***, you can reach out to your account representative the week of the game, and we can have your tickets printed and left at will call for pick up.

When requesting this ticket to be printed, we will have to have M*** reach out and confirm to have tickets printed under your name.

These printed tickets will be available for pick up the day of the game.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Regards,

Ticket Service

The Fed Ex tracking code is in account manager.

Says mine won't be delivered until Wednesday. And hasn't even been received by Fed Ex yet (just the shipment information).

Probably little rhyme or reason depending on location - mine is an office building downtown.

Might be easier to just regularly transfer the tickets direct to the other person, so they can have on their own phone.

It was more the issue of not being able to have the phone to do it. I usually printed a copy of the ticket and just gave it to them...now its going to be annoying.

Where in the account manager did you find this? I haven't received my package yet and we have not gotten any emails regarding deliverySame place it's been for a few years (though navigating there has changed).

After you sign-in (at https://am.ticketmaster.com/tfc/#/) click on your name near the top right, then Settings - and it takes you to the old interface. Then in "Manage My Personal Profile" (under "Personal Settings") it should show the "TFC FedEx Tracking Number" under your phone numbers.

Ah, looks like mine shipped at about 11 AM this morning - from Markham. No emails ...

Edt - actually, they did email me around noon on Tuesday ... I hadn't seen it when I posted this. And the Fed Ex arrived Wednesday morning after shipping on Tuesday. Label shows they did 2-day delivery, so could easily have arrived Thursday.

High quality felt you mean, right?

I didn't mean it's Italian silk, but meant compared to previous years it has the tightest weave of the acrylic fibre.

Worst quality of all was the year 1, 2007, but I'm sure it's the most "collectible" of them all.

I find it unfortunate that TFC underestimated, or worse doesn't care about the number of STH who use these tickets to give to clients, as prizes for school raffles, etc. I do for both, and know of many who give them to clients, and this is just an inconvenience now. People loved getting the tickets in hand and going to the game with no fuss. Its a bit of an ask to have someone download an app and create an account now for something they may just use once. Or worse, leave them at will-call with the risk of something going wrong, or having a big line up for something that was supposed to be a donation. Very shortsighted imo.

Also, with the excuse of "going green", what was actually saved aside from the actual ticket books? Scarf still came in a cardboard box, and the fancy TFC box. Very disappointed with the whole process this year. What used to be a 2nd Christmas with the opening of the box and ticket package, became a big meh this year with a scarf and reading on how the hell I can pas my tickets along if need be this year.

Has anyone successfully transferred some of their season tickets to another person. I have tried sending to two people and both are being told they have to changed their passwords and then it doesn't work. (I have transferred additional tickets I bought for the season opener to one of these same people and that worked fine.)

I will be very interested to see if the Leafs and Raptors are completely digital next season too? That will be the telling story of why this was done for the Reds. With the number of corporate tickets held for the Leafs it would be a real pain in the ass to get tickets in the hands of clients etc , the executive assistants are going to love it LOL

My boss has Leafs/Raptors/TFC seasons & he is of the opposite mindset, as when you send out tickets via courier he finds it more of a hassle or people have to come out to our office to p/u. I can see from his stand point this is just one less thing to worry about as the digital transfer is more convenient..

From TFC FO "No. You can no longer use PDFs ("print at home") tickets or a printed-out screenshot to enter BMO Field. Contact the source of the ticket and request the ticket to be transferred to you."

See this link for the Mobile ticketing info and FAQ at the bottom where I got this answer from. https://www.torontofc.ca/mobile-ticketing

So in theory there will be no more scalpers outside the stadium and GO stationIn theory they can just transfer the tickets to you electronically - on the spot. Which gives you more security really ...

Though what's the cut-off for ticket transfers before kick-off? Traditionally it was 2 hours ... but I'd think they'd have to be close to realtime as surely people will be sending tickets to friends, etc., even after kick-off (if someone is late, for example).

I reckon 5% of the SSH base is scalpers / sellers. All this will do is drive those sales through the official ticketmaster selling venue.

Forge FC did this last year and did not advertise that you could contact your rep and they would print tickets for you. Might want to call and let them know you are unhappy, don't have a smart phone (if thats the case) and would rather they mail you (or you pick up) printed generic tickets to use.

Yes - that was my 7-year old's biggest concern ... the pizza coupons! :)

They were well hidden on the app. Go to Stadium then Membership Central and click on VIEW OFFERS under My Membership Perks and it should be obvious from there.

I used a Pizza one under the 104 stands at about 4:30, and they puzzled through it - said I was the first one they'd got! But easy enough!

It is and it isn't. They have to provide tickets to you if you don't have the means of using mobile entry. So when I told them I don't have a smart phone that will do it and I need printed tickets they weren't happy but had to comply. They even made it feel like some kind of extra obligation by having me sign some BS form that says I don't have the means blah blah blah. But in the end, printed ticketbastard stock arrived with all the matches.
