This is actually very encouraging news...

Having suffered through concussions, surgery consults, medication, and still today with post-concussion syndrome, if Dichio is doing anything, and I mean ANYTHING that is very positive...

Now, don't mistake this with a "he's coming back" or anything - he still could be done for the year... But if his symptoms are at the point where the doctor is letting him do some physical activity - that's a good sign...

Here's hoping for a complete (and speedy - but that's tough with conkers) recovery for our big man...

The Drogba-esque player according to some of the players was a guy named Dave Simpson. So i'll assume to signed for DP money

A DP who has never scored more than 4 goals in a season? I hope not.

36 is Killian Elkinson, hes one of our younger generation, there were two no-named players (no name or number on jersey) though - Dave Simpson as number 28 and another smaller guy with number 26, neither one had numbers on their jerseys just the shorts.

I don't know who that new guy was, but he did look pretty impressive. Strong with the ball and good shots.

May I add.... even at training Cunny can't score it was brutal.

There were a lot of little kids...but it was fun. I thought there was 300-400 - about the same turnout for a Columbus game?

Hahaha, yeah Cunningham couldn't even score in practice and believe me he had a few sitters at point blank range.

Dichio did a full intense workout which looked very promising and fantastic to see.

Drogba fellow was a big boy but was tripping and falling over his own feet all over the place. Did have a few flashes of brilliance though.

Ibrahim was by far the best player at the practice hands down. Just clinical in every aspect of the practice. A treat to watch.

Barrett was not impressive, bit of a lump and seemed to complain an awful lot. Don't think he'll be our saviour, but hopefully he proves me wrong.

Julius James had some awesome headers!! Wow when he strikes those crosses, WATCH OUT!

Robinson was also a treat to watch as he was getting stuck in with the boys, manning them up!

Everyone else just kind of blended in and went with the flow. Overall I've got to be honest and say I was unimpressed with the quality of the drills, the quality of the feedback from the coaching staff, the level of skill from the players and have seen better practices run by the Toronto Lynx. Sorry had to be said. However, I'm assuming Carver dumbed the practices down, and incorporated a lot of scrimmage based, and shooting based drills to please the younger crowd. Hopefully he doesn't run these sorts of practices behind closed doors as they were as basic as it gets.

Oh and want to know why we can't score. Well on one shooting drill within the 18 yard box, approx. penalty shot range, 5 out of 10 guys hoofed the ball so high over the net that it went out of the stadium. I mean the net was right in front of them and balls were being passed along the ground on perfectly flat turf. I'm sorry missing from that range is unacceptable, especially if your gonna consider yourself a pro soccer player.

Anyways that's just my two cents on the practice.

Key to making the playoffs........Sign more Ibrahim's asap!!!!
