The first keeper here, apart from Cesar, who I trusted to save us games more then lose us ones.

He had the respect of his backline & helped get us our first playoff victory & into that final.

He helped us into the Voyageurs which allowed us to get that CCL run.

Saved our defence numerous times in 2016.

Respect & God Speed

Clint is a solid MLS keeper, and especially in the second half of the 2016 regular season, made numerous big saves that won us games.

He pitched a shut out in an MLS final for us. He didn't have much to do, but he did it, and it wasn't easy. He stopped first Torres late in extra time, and then a PK, after mostly standing around on the frozen tundra of BMO for 110 minutes.

Then he went to the bench last year without a peep and was a consummate team man.

Thank you Clint Irwin. I would buy him a beer anytime, anywhere.

(He seems like a really fine person. I hope maybe he comes back here someday as a coach or something.)

Will always wish Clint the best going forward. Not many starters lose their spot due to injury like he did, and not many handle such situations with the class and grace he showed. He was the keeper who took us to new heights and I will be thankful for his contribution to to our championships.

Hope he does well with the Rapids ( I will never understand their keeper situation )

Clint, your steady play got us within one crossbar of winning the MLS cup, and despite adversity you kept contributing. You’ll always have friends and supporters at BMO. Best wishes in Colorado

I remember talking with Clint after last year's CCL game against Ottawa when they lost 2-1. He was still out there after the game and most of the players and fans had left, practicing around the pitch. To me he was a true professional and took time for fans. All the best back in Colorado. I get the feeling that he'll be their Number 1 by mid-year.

Always a pleasure to have him here in Red. It almost felt like a full circle to where he really made his name before the MLS in Ontario, and it was wonderful to see him lead us on that amazing run in 2016.

Good luck to him in Colorado! I'm sure he will overtake Howard over there!

Great keeper and Great professional who didn't bitch when he was made #2 keeper after taking us to the MLS Cup Final.

such a good guy. always ready to go even after months out of the first team squad. Was great to have such a pro backing Bono for the inevitable times we needed to rely on him.

good luck ! (but for at least one game a year : )
