Friday

Vancouver @ Colorado 9pm- Vancouver has 4 draws in a row. Colorado has 6 losses. Something has to give here. Neither team is all that impressive but Colorado has looked particularly inept. This being MLS, that means a fine Colorado win is on tap.
2-0 Colorado Why watch the highlights of this game? In desperation, Robinson might #FreeAlphonso.

Saturday

LAG @ Portland 5pm - Zlatan is not happy but really LAG should have got a result midweek. They play much better when the Dos Santos brothers are not around. Portland seems to have found its mojo offensively but defensively they have been suspect in the last couple of games. Zlatan to be more happy this week
2-2 draw Why watch this game? Good offences - less so defences.

Philly @ Atlanta 7:30pm- Philly on a roll of late - against less then good opposition. BUT, they managed to scrape a draw against NYRB. Atlanta eats up bad teams but has lost their last two at home against good teams. Philly isn't a good team.
3-0 Atlanta win Why watch the highlights of this game? Two teams we have to get past to move on up.

Houston @ Montreal 7:30pm - The Impact are imploding. Players thrown under the bus - nobody happy. Piatti possibly on the move. Houston has managed to get a point a game out of their away efforts. Tonight, their speed will feast on a slow back line.
3-0 Houston win Why watch the highlights of this game? Somebody is going to explode within the Montreal camp & this might just be the week.

NYRB @ NER 7:30pm - New England somehow managed to survive against Atlanta mid week. Their defence was poor but goaltending got them out with a draw. The Red Bulls are more clinical & I would argue are a better team then Atlanta when they play tough opposition.
2-1 NYRB win Why watch the highlights of this game? A month tonight, we face NYRB - keep an eye on them.

Orlando @ NYCFC 7:30pm - The panic team goes to the place where panic games occur more then anywhere else. NYC is better offensively but Orlando somehow keeps in games. This one will be as wild as every game down in Orlando is. But, the Lions fail in the wierd ones more then naught - NYC knows how to win these sort of games.
4-2 NYC win Why watch the highlights of this game? Johnson's look of incredulity is only beaten by David Villa's. Over under on finger wagging in this game is 20.

LAFC @ Dallas 8pm - GAME OF THE WEEK Dallas somehow getting wins when they really should have had losses. LAFC without Vela is still a tough offence to face. Dallas will score goals but can they keep them out enough. I'm calling for LAFC to provide Dallas with its first loss.
3-2 LAFC win. Why watch the highlights of this game? Latin flair vs. Bradley's tactical brain

San Jose @ Chicago 8:30pm Stinker of the Week Two not very good teams. San Jose has two wins against the Loons & only one draw beyond that. Panovic outcoached himself midweek against Philly. But, Chicago is still the slightly better team.
1-0 Chicago win Why watch the highlights of this game? Don't

Seattle @ RSL 9:30pm Seattle seems to be waiting to start a mid season run - they don't seem to care until then. Even the luxury of a game a week later against the same team, who have to play a game midweek - that won't help. RSL got a good result this week at home & will want to cement the work this week. Petke tends to do that sort of thing well.
2-1 RSL win Why watch this game? Comparing ourselves to what Seattle is might be one of the highlights of Saturday night

Sunday

Minnesota @ SKC 8:30pm A coaching mismatch. The Loons score through endeavour at home but are bad away. SKC is the class of the west & know what it takes to win games like this.
2-0 SCK win Why watch this game? If you enjoy coaching histrionics, this is the Super Bowl of MLS for you.

LOL

Philly loses two men in one play to reds.

And still get a goal. That game looked and sounded like a carnival.

The funny part is honestly that both Reds were deserved in that one play imo.

Bedoya was being stupid after 2 minutes of arguing, on a yellow already, steps back in the penalty area to delay even more.

Could this just now be a delay tactic by teams to argue with the ref just so there is time for VAR? Honestly feel like there is more swarms of the ref because of VAR.

Oh...and Alan Gordon is still a late minute God.

That last goal by Salt Lakes Silva on Seattles Frei racing back to his net. Fun.

Pretty comic defending there as well.
