All Games on Saturday

NYC @ NET 1:30 pm - NER is unbeatable at home. If there is a team apart from us that can win there, its NYC. NER is playing a very English style game, as in NYC. England 2001 vs. England 2018 2-1 for the Pigeons. Why watch this game? Brute strength vs. guile

Portland @ FCD 3:30pm - Portland has looked awful with the wrong set of players for the formation & style of play. FCD hasn't been overwhelming either but they are at home & that should be enough. 3-1 for FCD. Why watch this game? Dallas is fun to watch when they start running

DCU @ Columbus 6pm - Columbus is just too strong for DCU who are still in preseason form. 2-0 for Columbus. Why watch this game? Olsen is fun to watch on the sidelines - they should just keep a camera on him.

Minnesota @ NYRB 7pm - Two teams looking very different from last year. The Loons are - competent but fragile as glass. NYRB are running & gunning but also smarting from an unexpected loss last week. 4-1 for NYRB Why watch this game? NYRB are pretty darn good & the Loons are trying really hard to overcome their manager

SKC @ Colordao 9pm - SKC has learned how to score - and unlearned how to defend. Colorado has had only one game and is still trying to open the text book. 3-1 win for SKC Why watch this game? The Rapids are our next oppponent in April after RSL & Club America.

LAG @ Vancouver - 10pm - No Zlatan but hey...Brek Shea!!!! LAG is a work in progress and a lot of that work involves what the heck to do with a $5 million DP who can't seem to play with anybody. Until LAG figures out that particular Dos Santos brother, they will have issues against any well organized team. 2-0 for the Caps. Why watch this game? Because you like well organized defences playing unorganized messes.

The Rapids made a pretty interesting signing last week. It didn't get a lot of press but could really change their look.

(His Chinese team had to move him after they signed Gaitan and Carrasco from Atletico Madrid.)

My schedule today (or lack thereof) has allowed me to catch the 2nd half of each game so far.

The Crew's stadium is looking mighty empty, but they are just all over DC United.

Stumbled upon this game and I didn't see the organization promised?

Davies playing in the back four seemed a bit of a waste.

I hate games on carpets.
