This may be one of the most important moves ever made by MLS !

The strength of European soccer is not necessarily the individual leagues but the multiple interactions with each other making the whole of Europe an attractive place to play

The things mentioned in this article just raised the profile of North American soccer another notch!

I'm confused. Isn't this exactly what the CCL is for?

Why do we need another champions vs. champions game? What's that gonna prove?

the timing of it is what seriously irks me. Right before MLS Cup Playoffs? No team in their right mind would play starters for this - so whats the point?

Someone brought up a good point on MLS.com ... if it's the MLS Cup winner playing in the game, that could potentially be only the 12 best team in MLS during the previous regular season. Plus the game is almost a year removed from them winning it.

This is just a pathetic cash grab. I hope it dies quickly.

CCL is all that matters.
