1. Dichio's first goal
2. Edu's goal that sealed our first ever win
3. The Father's Day Massacre 4-0
4. Dicho's NER goal and pitch invasion

4.Montreal standing by the player enterance as our boys came off the bus 5 of us strong singing the T-O-R-O-N-T-O TFC song at each and everyone of the players then having JC, JimmyB, Dichio,Ricketts turn and smile at us as we did, Then a few mins later seeing Connie Roogs and Shane(dinodoc) coming down that road leading to Saputo.

5.Pitch Invasion last season.

Post your TOP 5 TFC Memories

BMO home opener, the atmosphere!
Dichio 23:14! Right in front of my corner!!! Everyone is jumping up and down, strangers hug, high-five, pat on the shoulder of each other, beer shower, seat cushions flies out, the camaraderies of supporters
Streamer shower opposition corners, managed to hit a few perfect tosses
Toronto FC 4, FC Dallas 0!
Montreal Road Trip!!!!
(Actually, impromptu singing of O Canada over and over again at ASG too, everyone's united. although it's a misunderstanding, but the mixed emotion of anger and patriotism at the moment is memorable, not TFC but oh well)

1. Elephant and Castle Toronto FC v Chivas USA - First game ever, so many months of anticipation realized. The bar being louder for the "coming up next TFC v Chivas" being on the screen than it was when the leafs beat the habs 10 mins earlier to almost squeak into the playoffs

2. First ever goal - jumping in the air, getting bumped and falling into the row in front of me and not being able to get up because I was cheering on the ground. looking up and seeing all the seat cushions.

3. Dichio's final goal of the season v NE

4. Home opener this season 08

5. TFC 4-0 Dallas

totally.

and watching a game where it doesn't matter if you win or lose is kind of enjoyable too. It takes the pressure off and you can just enjoy a good play for what it is.

1. 1st season, first match attended watching us win against Dallas 4-1 in 112. I was dehydrated, but it was because I actually forgot my beer under my seat ( saw it second half but it was like hot Tea by then.

2. Columbus trip with Flush, Rooney and Mrs, and the Scottish Rangers fan. Classic was me asking Flush to drive home and he still got a speeding ticket doing 50km in Pennsylvania. Needless to say it was 35km per hr until we hit Canadian soil "playing some pick up footy in the Casino parking lot until 2:30am until "security" finally drove up asking "what the fuck are ya doing here"

3. Watching Danny D score the match tying goal against (too drunk to remember) in the handicapped seats on the east side.

4. Going to the Vancouver match and watching us almost score in the last minute. View was obstructed by big titted women who constantly were walking to their seats after buying refreshments during the match. (actually didn't mind, compared to what was happening on the pitch.

5. This Sundays match.............................................

TOBOR !
08-01-2008, 11:29 PM
There are tons of highlights (and sadly many lowlights), but for me they all flow from this one moment. I've said it before on some other nostalgia thread, so I'll mention it again here. It was great to get a team in Toronto - a team of our own - a team for us to cheer for - but we didn't know what to expect.

There were three road games to start the season and we lost them all - failing to score a single goal. Then there was the home opener - where we also didn't score, and we also lost - but the single biggest memory for me is the aftermath of Eddie Johnson's goal. When he went to the south-west corner and jeered at the crowd and the beer came flying out of the stands.

That was awesome. That is the precise moment that I knew what we had, and what we were going to do.

That is Tobor's top memory, and always will be.

Everything else comes second - be it goals, games, tailgates, whatever. For me, even though we'd lost our 4th on the trot without ever scoring, I felt like I belonged.

I was home.

In no particular order.

1. Dichio 23:13. (Had a friend with me who knew nothing about soccer. But she was overwhelmed by the noise and seat cushion raining down)
2. Ricketts 2 v. Colorado. (Had 20 friends with me, who've only hear my talk about TFC games, and looking over at them with they're jaws dropped as BMO erupted)
3. Dichio's goal in additional time v. New England to end the 2007 season.
4.Mentioning TFC while watching a Leafs game in March of 2007 and having 3 other people know what I was talking about and being excited about it.
5. The March over to BMO on July 22nd of 2008. Great show of unity between the supporters groups.

5. Columbus I (May 2007). First bus trip... you always remember the first time. I would like to say Brennan's free-kick goal at the game, but I was off having a piss :(

4. Tearing through rural New York State and Pennsylvania over night en route to DC last year. We didn't see an interstate from Buffalo to Virginia.

3. Not being in town for the first goal/win against Chicago. But going f***ing nuts watching it on the tele.

2. The thrashing we gave Dallas last year.

1. Hanging out on the Compton border drinking a bubba of Heineken from a glass graciously donated by Nigel Reed.

On our way out of the Home Depot Centre, we see a group of five well-dressed guys waiting on the street corner. We slow down and realize it's Craig Forrest, Nigel Reed, Mitch Peacock and a couple of producers. They're stranded, no taxi will come and get them.

We shoot the bull for a bit and then get the great idea that some of us should stay behind while they get a lift to their hotel. I grab the mini-keg from the back of the van and, as they're about to head off, knock on the front window. "Out of curiosity, anyone have a pint glass?" I say, thinking so one would. Then an LA Galaxy glass emerges from the back seat of the van.

Croat, the Rooneys, myself and a few others (can't remember) sit in front of a KFC (across the street from houses with bars on the windows, choppers flying overhead) and spend an hour drinking ourselves stupid waiting for the van to come back.
