Poll: TFC Academy logo as the main logo.

I have always loved TFC's Academy logo and wish it was the main logo for TFC proper.
To me, it's much more original and interesting and less generic compared to the main logo.
who else wishes it was the main logo.

Always liked the Academy logo, but we've lived with the existing one for 10 years...I think it would be bad karma to change things up now. Also would not want the first team switched over to an Academy crest when we are finally playing and winning like the first team we've always hoped for. Would seem to be a bit of a backwards move.

Honestly I was never a huge fan of our logo. It reminds me of that Simpson's episode where they're looking for the big T.

Its our badge and really never want to see it go. Its been here through the thick and thin.

i like both but am more drawn to our existing logo - as nice as the academy logo is it seems somewhat high schoolish for my liking....

Meh, Academy logo looks like it belongs to a Bundasliga or Polish team. TFC's logo looks and feels contemporary North American and is quite attractive. It's instantly recognizable, I wear it with pride!

Yes looks like a Polish symbol. Not unique and distinctive. Nothing wrong with our logo.

For the sake of rumination, I'd be interested to see a TFC logo as interpreted through the design motifs of each decade since the 20's. E.g. An art deco TFC logo would be kinda cool on a fighter pilot style coat.

But I would not like to see any one of those on our jerseys.

The Academy's logo is far better by a distance. Ive always disliked our crest with that huge ugly "T" It really is a classic example of poor design. The eagle and a more subtle "TFC" looks far superior. In my opinion, of course...

I'm guessing those who voted for our present logo are doing so out of loyalty rather than appearance?

I'm not terribly nostalgic about history. To me there is no reason why a club's logo can't be updated every once in a while. Our first crest isn't exactly special but It isn't three guys wearing construction hats bad either.

I'm all for an update after 10 years, provided it doesn't become an obsession of the marketing department to change it every year or two thereafter.

Pass on the academy crest however, it's a little overdone.

It wouldn't be our leaf agreed upon by all the teams for sure. I don't see Montreal even adding any of their number of wins until it was a round significant number (10) or it would be pretty chaotic.

Its funny you say that cause the academy logo actually creeps me out. It doesnt strike me as canadian at all. Just feels like a european boiler plate clip art.

Yes, it was loyalty, but only against the offered alternative. Perhaps the "T" with some added decorations (calligraphy) would improve it.
