So will the team be staying in NY for the week, or flying back and forth (I'm hoping for the former)?

It's only what, an hour flight. I doubt they'd stay. Different if it was on the West coast.

It just seems weird to fly them back and forth twice to the same place in a week.

But I suppose overall it's cheaper.

yeah our Porter flight back was like 80$. Way cheaper than keeping the team there for a week with hotels and stuff lol

Adding to the list...

COMMENT: MLS DisCo must suspend New York's Zubar for horrendous challenge on Lovitz.

Team arrived home last night at 9 p.m. post-game. They flew out immediately following the match.

Not only is it cheaper but they get their own beds to sleep in, see their families and TFC's own facilities to practice at. Can't beat that for just a quick flight.

Agree. NYC isn't that big of a deal in terms of commute. Besides, just consider the exchange rate right now and you think that everything -- meals, hotel, field rentals -- are 35% more!

Good points, all.
