It would be a good aquisition. He played well for Man City at the begining of the season last year. When he played in Belgium, he was dominant and I thing the Belgium league is on par or better than MLS.

I remember him from his days with Schalke 04 in Germany. Was a top 5 striker in the Bundesliga for 2 or so years.

It would be nice, but he does not seem to have the size to play up alone.

I don’t think we’re actually linked with Mpenza. I’m not sure he’s got a huge future in Europe ahead of him. I know he’s getting interest from some Championship teams, but no one in the top flight. Maybe it’s not all that unrealistic to think he could wind up in the MLS.
