I wanted to hate the guy. I wanted to think he was terrible and over-rated and not worth any of the press he gets. I wanted to think that MLS banking on him was ridiculous and that he was just another player.
The guy is fucking phenominal. He's past his prime, not fully in it to win, and still he has a goddamn magnetic kick. Every single cross, shot and pass were exactly where they needed to be. It really put it into perspective how far we still have to go in Toronto.
I wanted to hate him, but I was fucking FLOORED last night. He really is that good.
