Do the REVs even plan to get a soccer specific stadium? co the turf at that stadium isn't going anywhere.

Their owners don't care. It's good enough for their money making NFL team.

Not that our owners aren't going that way. We'll see if they stick with grass in 2017 at BMO.

NOTICE:

Calling all banner makers! Next Tuesday Aug 4 @ Ricoh there is a TFC banner session! All interested in getting their gridding, tracing, or paint on PM me and I'll put you on the list. This will be a big help for TFC and an ideal session if you've never done one before. There will be plenty others there like yourself!

Session usually starts at 6-11 and we'll meet at the entrance facing BMO field.

A SSS for Boston area is higher on Kraft's attention list currently than it's been in forever, but it got tied into the whole Boston Olympic bid thing. Now that the bid is not happening, it will be interesting if they move forward on the stadium plan on their own.

The Revs exist just to fill in the empty dates in the NFL stadium... and for the tax write-off possibilities.

The Kraft family wants to run the Revs on the cheap. They were part of the old cheap owners who wanted to keep MLS as a budget league, i.e. MLS 1.0. They allegedly opposed the DP rule, anything but the most minimal salary cap (budget) increases, etc. They were very influential in MLS in the early years, but with the influx of new ownership, the success of designated players, and new revenues from media rights and sponsorships their influence has faded.
