Telling a teenager to go across the world and fight for a spot at a second division team with terrible facilities, shit coaching staff, no support system and a massive language barrier (few languages are harder to pick up on than Portuguese) was always going to be a fruitless operation. Would have been a lot better for him to stay the year in Wilmington.

He is only 19 remember. I think as long as he gets a good run of games at TFC II he will be fine. He notted 5 in 11 last year. SO far this year 2 in 7. I haven't watched him play so can't comment on whether he is developing or not. Is he missing chances or not taking them because the team is poor? ect. I think patience is key with a young player like this. He got a taste of what the majority Europe (not first division) is like. Let the season play out and I say give him other one with TFC II before really worrying.
