This is a great idea for a recurring thread although it may be duplicated by the pre-game thread.

So far.

a) SJE likes to play 4-1-4-1 - Hey its Kinnear.

b) they are using a drafted rookie to cover Kaka. Said drafted rookie is away with the U23 US team next week.

c) Marvel Wynne has lost a tad bit of speed, gained some weight but still relies upon his athleticism too much in his defending - I'm imagining him dealing with Giovinco next week

d) If ur remembering the Bash Brothers vs. caldwell and Henry last season, all 4 of those are gone for next sweek -

e) SJ rely upon their creative midfielders and press. Going to be interesting up against our diamond.

f) SJE not getting much out of John, their forward. They aren't even using him to hold up the ball. He's basically a pylon somebody has to mark.


g) Wondolowski is on 99 career MLS goals. It would be really nice if he scored today.

Wondo gets his 100th so that's not sitting around for anybody to think and talk about next week.

And SJE's keeper is making bad decisions, cost them a penalty.

SJE deciding to play on a field that was laid down 6 days ago in front of a half filled stadium (36K). Can't beat a team when up a man with 40 to go. That would be a good result for us.
