Due to lack of fan support?
I know, I know...storm etc. etc. but it's still funny.

the listed attendance for that game is 14,000. i guess that means tickets sold then.

There was a 3 hour rain/thunderstorm delay - this is after the game restarted

fair play to them

Nope, I'm pretty sure this is a typical DC game.

how many of our fans would stick around for 3 hours in the rain during a delay?

The 12th man literally refers to one man, I think it's the guy to the farthest left of the picture in the stands.

i guess based on that pic, the screaming eagles are allergic to rain?

this was game that was canceled after similar 3 hour delay month and half ago. It was scheduled for Tuesday. Storm knocked the lights out so it was rescheduled for Wednesday (at which point many of those people came for 3rd weeknight, and paid second ticket and parking to get in). Pic is little after midnight, when anyone that came on metro or any other public transportation had to leave since nothing comes to that station past 11:45. I got home around 2:30am still completely wet after 6 hours in rain

You'd think our team would find some balls to play after it but they still got wooped like little girls :/

Dude Toronto would still have a packed house with a storm like that. 20,000 would stay not just 50. That is why Toronto FC is and will always be the benchmark

Don't be silly. A three hour delay on a Wed. night? Most people would leave. On a weekend, maybe most would stay, but a Wed. no.

3 hour delay stuck with buying BMO Field beer would cost me $252

Actually the funny, or sad, thing is they still probably beat the Crew in attendance for that week.

if you look closely, theres an absolute horde of fans up the top of the stand under the balcony.....you can see their feet sticking out.

Yeah, on a weeknight when I have a 2+ hour drive home and have to be up for work at 6am the next day. I love tfc (I do have season tickets and live over 2 hours away) but I have to draw the line somewhere. I think the south end would be pretty full, but there'd only be a handful of people in the other 3 stands.

However, on a weekend night I'm there.
