Starts with our opponents next week

NER at OCSC

Going to be Univision dudes or Paul Mariner waxing eloquently - if you can't stand them, hopefully there is a European stream somewhere.

Wow is Orlando's defense looking pretty bad. I'm not even sure Kaka can save them at this point, they're gonna have to turn around their season and fast.

New England is probably the most 'balanced' team in MLS. their level of cohesion is pretty good for an MLS team

And then parity and playing Jones in the wrong position changed everything.

I think Altidore will have Jones for dinner next week. And no way do Cheyrou and Bradley give NER that much space in the midfield.

Wow I know it's the start of the game but Saputo Stadium is not even half full for the Montreal Portland game now on most of the TSN Channels.

Trying to watch MTL-POR but Vic Rauter is almost unbearable. "Valeeri", pronouncing McInerney with some half-fench accent, just odd comments and pacing and Donadel is apparently Scottish.

TSN really needs a better B team when Wileman and De Vos aren't available.

montreal how can you go from 60,000 to 4000 then next game.
The impact's SSH based must have shrunk to nothing. This is pretty embarrassing.

I look at the results and the standings each week. Peruse the board very occasionally now. My Dad died about 7 years ago and the connection to Barrow mentally went, to be honest.

Focused on the locals here. but still happy to see the Bluebirds do well. Belong in NL or Division 2.

Watching Eurosport doing Montreal and Portland - taking Montreal apart for not going for it tactically. And they just got flumoxed by Oduro's hair.

And now Valeri puts the knife in.

And Oduro scores.

Good for us both Philli and Montreal are in the East. That means we should be fighting two expansion sides for a playoff spot

After this weekend it seems apparent that this year's MLS cup winner will be from the west.

I can't believe we are still in a playoff position. I would like to figure out whatever it is we did to beat Vancouver at home and start doing that again.

First off I didn't say the West was going to win every game against the East. Second if you're going to put your eggs in Columbus' basket to beat the champion from the West in the final then you may want to be ready for an omelette.

One reason we're still in a playoff position is because the two expansion teams were, rightfully so, placed in the East. The other reason being that Philly/Chicago/Limpact are sucking balls this year. We're going to the playoffs, that's money in the bank, what happens when we get there is anyone's guess.

Meh.....one week it goes one way, the other week it goes another. The consensus top 4 in the east is DCU, Columbus, NYRB and NER - 2 played the West - 1 win, 1 tie.

Sorry to hear about your Dad, Sad times mate, RIP. I assume he lived in or was from Barrow?

With our new Owner's financial clout, we just may get back in the Football League & we are turning Full Time for next season & slowly bringing everything back to Barrow (ie) training etc.

Ormsgill....My Nan and Grandad and Aunt are buried up the cemetary that way. Mum from Roose. Moved here in the 50's but went back a lot as a kid and followed Barrow for years as much as one could.

Good to hear things are on the up and up.

Orlando leading at RFK, Larin with his 3rd of the season. Not a good result for us from a playoff standpoint
