Home opener supporter's march

[Ivy]

March details are being worked out, but a march will be held from Joe's and other bars around the stadium. We're working with other supporter groups to either march together, or to join up somewhere in the middle. It's going to be timed in a way for us to get to the gate about an hour before kick off. More details will be available soon.

As always, this is an open invitation for everybody to come together and cheer. Tell your friends and neighbours.

Word has it that TFC FO will be doing their own march, in which we (or the other groups) will not be participating in; ours will be completely seperate.

Looks like this game is going to be a sell out (or very very close to), so arrive at Joe's early. We don't want to see people waiting outside; there might be other groups starting their celebrations at Joe's as well. It'll be busy.
Kick off is at 5, we'll be starting the march at 3:40.

A bit of an update:

TFC's march will be leaving at 3:15, so our set time of 3:40 is good. We'll leave it there.

There might be a TFC VIP joining us at the march, so dress to impress (not literally... No suits allowed)

There will be announcement made to remind people and to push the start time of the march as well. So those paying debit ect will get 20 mins call before it leaves so people can have time yo pay up.

I just looked at the GO schedule. Haven't taken GO since last season. Running on the hour for Sunday. WTF. I thought all days were changed to every 30 min. Did that change or was Sunday always like that? That changes my plans to driving now since I have a tight timeline to work with and "on the hour" doesn't fit into that. FYI in case anyone is planning on using GO to get downtown on Sunday and had no idea about this like me.....maybe just me :) .

The route of this year's March will be slightly different then previous years. I was just told that the supporters' gate changed, and it's highly unlikely that the trailers and cranes will be gone from the east parking lot in time.

The new route we will take is:
From Shoeless Joe's (King and Dufferin)
South on Dufferin, and across the bridge. Turn on Saskatchewan Rd (which turns into princess blvd) and follow that into the stadium.

Gates open at 3... beer will be served once gates open. So go on the march and you will be good to be in 45 min before the game

Gates usually open 2 hours or so before game time. Bud Patio is open at 3 after the FO march from Brazen head.

And they would be nuts not yo have the beer ready for people lmao
