WEST HAM have completed the £5 million signing of Switzerland international Valon Behrami from Lazio.
The 23-year-old can play at right-back or in midfield and has signed a five-year deal with the London club.

Behrami, who has 15 caps, played in all three Swiss Euro 2008 matches.

Prices like this are what it costs for quality, no way TFC would pay this kinda $$$

Under a different set of circumstances would could pay for quality...but we're not going to use our DP slot on a rightback. And guess what? If we offered Behrami the same contract he'd chose West Ham over us...it's not enough for MLS teams to make competitive offers, we have to over-pay players to come here - because they need to be convinced to play in the MLS...no body needs to be convinced to play in the Premiership.
