I just noticed that the TFC II roster only has eight players on it. For their game this weekend, can they just take players from the first team (since TFC is not playing) or do they call them up from the Academy team? (Or a bit of both). I just saw the FC Montreal roster, and they have 23 players signed, but seem to be treating the USL as U23 type league. Interesting to see which approach works best.

Do you know if there is a limit to the amount of players that can be sent to the II team

No limit, especially with the bye week for the first team you will see some added beyond those who have been training with the reserve team. Also 5 academy players can play per game.

My hope is they are pragmatic about who gets time down there. Keeping bench players fresh should be a lower priority than developing talent.

Will these games be available to view online? If so, will they be archived on youtube or anything like that?

Yes all USL games are broadcast live on youtube and will be available for viewing afterwards too.

Would you expect to see the likes of Jackson, Bloom, Lovitz and Delgado - who have yet to see any first team time, either on the field or the bench?

For anyone that purchased Season Seats - have you heard anything since ordering? The last e-mail I had was back in January.

Bright Dike is once again becoming the forgotten man, despite the new contract, I guess. Be good to see him get some time; also Morgan, if Morrow's suspension is overturned.

Manella as captain says something about how the team sees his future.

Any idea if they post for viewing right after the game or is there typically a delay? The reason I ask is I want to see the match Saturday night but may not get home until about 10PM so was hoping to watch it then if it would be available on Youtube that soon after the game ends. Thanks.

Manella as captain says something about how the team sees his future.

No doubt but I also think it hints that they expect him to remain there all season with little to no senior team time. Where as chapman an Morgan might split time.

Despite my excitement for the first team and the signings we have made I am just as interested in this. Especially for the future when TFCII will hopefully paying big dividends for the first team.

Two players from the academy players were also called in for the game, Marcus Godinho and Nikola Stakic. USL teams can dress up to five academy players per game.
