Thought this was a rather interesting read so I would share.

TLDR: Espinoza says he was constantly asked about how it is to play in MLS by his peers. Only thing stopping players from jumping ocean is the Salary Cap.
Vermes really wanted Bradley put in a big 40M offer but were outbid by TFC. Bradley's compass though always seemed to be pointing in that direction.

Bradley for Captain.

I wonder what Vermes' motives are for putting out this level of detail about a player he didn't get.

Sounds like SKC have a problem with their fans, who may not believe in their willingness to compete for big players.

Also makes me wonder if SKC aren't advertising their interest, in case Bradley becomes available.... in which case, why now?

SKC was touted as the second best bidder for Bradley at the time. No surprises on that one. Vermes is defending himself against those who think the team isn't competitive at getting DP's. Which they aren't. Good team built on finding talent that fits.
