just found this nugget, sounds like he walked away. not fired imo
I remember reading an article or two on him over the years.

I met Malcolm a few times.
He was a great guy.
I went down to Orlando for the pre-season games, he was quick to come over and share a joke or a story.
He was at BeerFest 2014 on the CNE grounds.
Again, super friendly. sharing hilarious or insightful nuggets about the team.
I will miss him.
Hopefully he's on to bigger and better things.

Sad news for sure. Seemed like a great guy.
Hopefully know he can go back home and watch his Saints as there 3rd in the prem.
