You know, I'll be the very first one to admit that DeRo can come off as a bit of a goofball. I had a debate with myself on what I thought of the guy.

I think he might be a bit full of himself, but:
A) He does a damn good job containing it. This year especially, to continue quietly supporting the team, being ready to come in, and never making it a circus about signing to come home and never getting to play.
B) He deserves to be full of himself. I bet he turned out a hell of a lot better than most of the kids he grew up with, and not even being able to imagine how hard it is to grow up like that and break the cycle of poverty, I think anyone that does it deserves to be pretty damn proud of themselves.

Also, that guy bleeds red. He's answered the call for his country. Every single time. And he gave it his all when wearing the Canadian jersey for every minute.

In summary, I'm looking forward to catching this documentary... haha.

I hope plenty of people DO watch it. I love the guy and parts of his history with this club and country. I was just cutting up this new nickname for my city.

I was thinking about it, and DeRo is a huge part of why I became a TFC fan. I have watched Canada for a long time, and really only got into MLS when it was a chance to watch him and DeGuzman playing for the only Canadian MLS team at the time. I since have become a huge TFC fan, and would watch Canadian players or not, but it's pretty cool seeing guys like Henry on the team now too. He strikes me as another guy bleeding red in two ways.
