Petrescu is the guy Carver got into on the sidelines when he was 4th official. Carver claimed he was very disrespectful. I'm concerned that because of it, consciously or not, he may biased against TFC.

I'm usually the one to hold the highest standards to referees and am the first one calling them out if they botch it, but I can't say that was true tonight; they did a good job.

I thought they actually seemed somewhat biased towards Toronto. There were at least 3 times I thought we committed a foul but it wasn't called. No one to blame tonight for the loss but the team.

Yes that's true. I remember of push by Wynne just outside the box that went unpunished.

Theres no doubt the refs were learning our way tonight. Makes the loss that much more pathetic.

...when he stops practising his doctoring in orillia.
He's close and convenient and canadian.
gotta say, though, the officiating was better tonight even if our team wasn't.

the yellows sure did fly tonight...

I swear each Montreal player left tonight with a medal around their neck and their name in the book

Definitely can't fault the officials tonight. Credit has to be given to Petrescu for finding a balance between calling fouls and letting the game have flow. Tonight, only the players on the pitch decided the outcome.

Refs called a decent game. Nothing was really blown. Yes more calls looked like they were going Toronto's way...but that's because Montreal never really was attacking.

As it turns out, even if the Cunny "offside" goal vs Vancouver had counted, and we'd tied that game 1-1, we still would have gone out.

This would only add to the endless debate on the Cunningham goal, but if you freeze frame it (like everyone's done), look at the shadows on the field, and Cunninham's shadow is farther down the field than the Vancouver defender.

Sure they may have been decent tonight... but overall they are inconsistent donkey ball lickers.

Dude... offside or not... did he put it in? That is not adding to the debate... it is further proving the point that even by gaining an advantage he can't finish. He is a useless twat.
