Well as the other thread won't move forward, and the start of this league being days away let's have a fresh start and a proper league play thread.

TFCA had two friendly games at the weekend, a win at Internatianal Toronto on Friday and a loss at Kitchener on Sunday. All good to learn from IMO

KO to the league is at OSA center on Friday at. 8pm. TFCA take on Vaughan Azuri in the 2014 opener.

after watching today in Vaughan, i have two teams to support for soccer; Will always be a TFC supporter but also very much enjoyed League 1 Ontario; looks like TFC has bright possibility of signing a few of these players to add to the squad.

Nicholas Osorio plays in our academy, Anthony Osorio plays with Nacional and I have no idea if the Jonathan Osorio listed with Masters FC is related but based on his first name, I am guessing he is not another brother.

I noticed that TFC updated the academy teams in the website and he is not listed on any team and despite being listed on the L1O site, has not been in a match day squad. Hope he is still around somewhere.

Maybe he was not 100%, he played 90 today at Kia.

We Went to last nights 1-1 draw with Durham. Hard to get time to see these games as I work silly hours, and I wish I hadn't bothered now.

TFC started well then they were scored on on the counter after 10 mins. They got a goal back after a Durham goalkeeping error, and that was it really? No imagination, no out standing players, not even any energy or imagination from the coaches, I could go on, maybe I just picked the wrong game? But it was like a training game in a pub league, very disappointed.

On a positive note, the hot food in the concessions was awesome Lol

From watching a lot of youth games, I find that they are generally hit and miss for quality.

Toronto FC Academy are just one win away from becoming champions of League 1 Ontario, with a game to spare!!

The Penultimate game is next Saturday, at Downsview at 1pm. They will play Kingston, the same team they played yesterday in the cup, winning out at a resounding 11-0.
