I will leave this questions to my more seasoned RPB/MLS experts - but I thought the league banned the use of non-surnames on the back of the jersey. I remember a season or so ago they made Camillo with the Whitecaps switch to his last name... Any word why he went with his first name - other than his last name might be hard to fit?

We have a few not using surnames on the back of jerseys... Issey, Gilberto, and Jackson. If a rule was made it must have been repealed

On Saturday he became the 153rd player to play at least one play minute for the Reds. The All-Time Roster just keeps on growing, looks like Nick Hagglund will most likely be the 154th player for the team.

Issey was gracious enough to sign a TFC photo of him I had from one of the pre-season games in Florida. Good to finally see him sign his deal with the Reds.

I was going to pick him as my first player name jersey.

And after Plata's performance for Ecuador before the Canada game ... imagine if we never got rid of him either.

This team was way better with Rey and Issey. I know Rey had his glaring faults, but we went from having a couple technical wingers to have guys with speed and no touch and it murdered our attack.
