And the controversy now starts....
Coach of the Seleção, Luiz Felipe Scolari, was very matter of fact when asked about the incident. (http://www.sambafoot.com/en/news/57954_toronto_fc_goalkeeper_julio_cesar_causes_con troversy_my_playing_in_an_amateur_7-a-side_game.html?)

"Júlio plays for which team? Toronto. So the person that needs to speak to him is the manager of Toronto. As I've said to you one hundred times, if I don't have one player, I take another." Wow. He doesn't seem to be taking us too seriously. If he was the starting goalie for QPR, there is no way he would play that game. Very unprofessional.

Given how terrible some of the usual MLS refs can be *cough*Toledo*cough* it was a mixed bag I'd say. Some games I thought were actually better reffed, others not so much.
