Who would have thought this press conference would be dwarfed by the Defoe and Bradley signings?

Would be a fitting song (or perhaps our own variation) to sing the first time he hits the pitch. :D

I missed the presser unfortunately. Hopefully they get the video up. I just watched the 'DeRo is back' video and I was shocked to see the cheque signing incident at the 1 minute mark. There was even mention of it from one of the broadcasters at 1:20. I would have thought they would try getting people to forget about that.

A variation would be mandatory for me

Welcome back,
Your dreams were your ticket out.

Welcome back,
To that same old place that you laughed about.

Well the names have all changed since you hung around,
But those dreams have remained and they're turned around.

Who'd have thought they'd lead ya (Who'd have thought they'd lead ya)
Here where we need ya (Here where we need ya)

Yeah we tease him a lot cause we've hot him on the spot, welcome back,
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back.

Both sides made mistakes so why not look back at it and have a laugh. God knows the former management was a big joke.
