DeRo agrees to terms but nothing is signed so doesn't really mean much. Why report it when not a done deal? Just to put something out there for the papers I guess. Who is to say that another team didn't do a deal with Toronto to pick up DeRo because of their higher position in the re-entry draft then once he is signed trade him to them. Would be a twist on the homecoming story. The last year of deals that took forever and or didn't end up happening makes me now a skeptic that anything can be a done deal without the actual signing and announcement....even then (Ben Haim). Signings like Urrutti that took forever then you have Gilberto that seemed to come out of nowhere and all of a sudden he is at a Raptors game then press conference and bam...on our team. They definitely need to come up with something for the renewals though...we are in January and TL said we can decide if they did their job in January or not...
