Looks like April 5th will be "rivalry" week.

Sea - Por, MLS cup rematch, rocky mountains (new, whitecaps - Rapids), Texas, LA, everything else is kind of weak.

We play Columbus

Montreal vs TFC, Saturday August 2, time tbd. That looks like the big away trip of the season. After the WC, thankfully.

Season closer at NE Revs might be a good trip, unless we have the same season results we've been having for the last 7 years, then, meh.

No Dome game (thankfully)... and only 1 home game has a time associated so hopefully we will get more/mostly night games.

only 6 games in Mar/Apr. MLS is doing us a huge favour with scheduling this year

I guess that shows how far down fan support has gone for MLS to start doing us favours. Maybe they're finally not taking the market for granted.

Yep next step for us is to get MLSE to get the parent companies to put us on at 7pm weekend and 8pm weeknight when at home.

Schedule also up on TFC website (http://www.torontofc.ca/news/2013/11/2014-season-schedule-released), including game times (when applicable)... interesting that all away games, except for Montreal August 2nd, have times assigned to them, and all home games, except for Chivas September 21st, are TBD.

Hate the fact that we play Montreal in our last home game of the season... again. The possibility of playing these guys in a potential meaningless game bothers me.

I know what you mean. We'll probably be resting people.

But, hey...some of those Impact guys could be fighting for a spot on the 2015 roster.

Absolutely pathetic that MLSE and the broadcasters aka owners couldn't be organized enough to have the times locked down for the release of the sked.

I know how programming works. This is very unprofessional.

No home game start times listed for TFC.
Makes it hard to plan travel for fans "from away".

I thought there was a "handshake agreement" to open at the dome vs MTL? Guess that fell through.

Home schedule spread looks good with March-1, April-1, May-3, June-1, July-4, Aug-2, Sep-3, Oct-2.

The West teams we play at home are Colorado, San Jose, Vancouver, Chivas, Portland.

The West teams we play away are Seattle, RSL, Dallas, LA.

The East teams we play twice home, once away are DC, NE, Houston.

The East teams we play once home, twice away are Columbus, NY, SKC, Chicago.

We only play Philly and Montreal twice.

Not much early in the season for a roadtrip.
Cuck Folumbus.
NJ Shite Bulls on a Friday
Chicago on a Wednesday
DC on a Wednesday
Philly on a Wednesday
Chicago in September (back to school for some)
NY in October (thanksgiving)

No favours for us in terms of away support.

MTL August Long Weekend could be fun.

This one stands out as my likely road trip: Saturday, August 2, 2014 Montreal

The Wednesday Philly game is possible too since it's the day after Labour day.

Also, does it seem like we often open the season against Seattle and close it against New England?

It would've of been awesome to have played Montreal away early in the season, but August 2nd could work too. I'm looking forward to this game already and hoping we have a strong showing at Saputo.

if our respective 2014 seasons go as planned, if they restrict us to 300 tickets the attendance will be about 5300, if they give us as many as we can take it'll be about 10,000  Joey never turns a buck down wherever its from

Note that the Montreal away game is Osheaga weekend. Hope it's an early afternoon kickoff for all the Toronto and Ontario people in town for that, would be a hell of a doubleheader.

actually typically in the last few years the reason they delay releasing the schedule is they try to wait for all the broadcasters to get their shit together. Seems like they said screw it this time and released what they knew. Likely see a time revisions in January/February as things get nailed down more. The dates are good enough to start planning around :)

TFC @ Seattle...

I hit up Seattle this year after Portland, and while it was fun, I'm not itching to go back. I think I'd like to head somewhere with a good stadium, and possible somewhere I wouldn't visit otherwise... oh and cheap flights are good too :)

You might no necessarily freeze. Looking at the historical weather data the following were the highs for March 22 for the last 4 years:

2013: 3.2 C
2012: 21.8 C
2011 6.1 C
2010: 4.5 C

We get another 2012 we could be in shorts and jerseys!
