He even went to team management to ask to return next season, understanding he would no longer be a DP and would have to play for a vastly reduced salary.

If this is true I don't know what to say. It depends on what a vastly reduced non DP salary is I guess, but in my mind even at $100,000 - $200,000 you take that and play the guy 30- 60 min a game for 20 games next year.

His strike rate has always been consistent and translated into the MLS. You would get 10 goals out of him no problem, and at that price it's well worth it.

^^ I heard the same thing from some guys about Danny K. He really wanted to stay here.

It will be a sad day tomrrow to see some good guys for the last time in a while.

This is something we did in the summer, its gone live today:

Danny K is a class act

If TFC ever needed a striker's coach at the organization (and we clearly do). This would be the man

From the Koevermans article:

In his 2 1/2 years, Koevermans says he has seen 54 players come and go.
"That's an insane number. I think that says it all," he said. "And again, at the start of next season, probably what will happen is they will bring in maybe 12, 13 new players, maybe more.
"Just hoping they are the right ones. And if it is not right again, it will just keep on going."

Truer words have never been spoken about this franchise. It shows that next year is a write-off as well. Curse the original management, they've killed the goose.

Just an aside, but does anyone know what's going on with Canadian Soccer News site?

It's down. They are working on their problem like we worked on ours.

Amazing video. Got emotional watching it. God damn I love this team.

Nothing will be sweeter than the day TFC becomes a winning team.

yeah, good feels about the video too.
While season wasn't that good on the pitch, a nice positive look at the supporters side. Us soldiering on.
Our beloved BMO and unique brand of Toronto culture on display :)

Awesome video guys. Cheers to those who created it!

Man, am I ever going to miss Danny K. It would be totally based on emotion after only playing with us for a year, but I'd love to see him up on the Wall of Honour. What a classy, stand up guy. He'll be missed.

4:08 left of centre.

I swear that is Chris Pozniak at a TFC game in his civies?

Pretty cool to have the alumni taking in a game....
