that is 2012, it's 2013 and I think TFC are in first place in the reserve league.

Although he's inadvertently stumbled onto a point, which is that if you look at who actually played and scored in those games, nearly all are first teamers, or have been promoted to such. The only exception is Ashton Bennett, who scored in his one reserve appearance then was released.

Our goals have been scored by Koevermans, Brockie, Bennett, Bekker (1), an Academy kid, Justin Braun and Andrew Wiedeman. That's basically it.

So of our usual "reserves", only really Bekker has scored, and that was a deflected shot off a wall.

^^ from that list you mentioned, who's a "first teamer" this year?
I don't follow reserves much, but I'm sure the other teams don't have a dedicated reserve game only squad.

With a 30-man roster? Yeah, it should be rare for guys who are starting regularly to also be the only point getters for the reserves. It's a weird confluence of injury, short on talent and the reserves not getting many games, is all.

Isn't the point of the reserve league, for players who arn't getting minutes that week to still get some playing time?

Are you implying that TFC is the only team that takes advantage of the reserve league to get minutes for players returning from injury (Kouvermans, Braun) or fringe players (Wiedeman) or young players not getting first team minutes (Bekker)?

Just curious, becuase I am not sure what your point is.
