bummer he is a great depth player. He always played well when giving the oppurtunity.

Out for the SEASON?! Shitty news. He's a good defender that we could always use.

I hope that the all star game will get another march leader now... Leave the poor guy to get better as quickly as possible.

Interesting note that by placing him on Season Ending Injury status (SEI) it actually frees up an S and I slot. Hmmm....

It's a shame, good depth player. But if it does free up a roster spot of the international variety at that, well that's a silver lining.

This is truly horrible news. Duni was one of the most important guys on the team IMO. A truly decent left sided defensive player who could slot in on the D or in Midfield, a guy who plays really hard, is smart, delivers good crosses into the box, and loves being in Toronto.

Damn damn damn. We don't have anyone who can replace him.

This sucks... He never received much time - but always did well when called on...

Lets hope we make the most out of the roster spot this frees up...

Best wish to you Duni - I hope rehab and physio go well, and you're back on the pitch when fit...

Carts...

What effect does this have on the roster?

Does MLS have an "injured reserve" where his salary is paid, but doens't count against the cap?

from what i remember, his salary will still count against the cap, but his roster spot will become open. since he was making only 100K or so, the 50K against the cap the rest of the way shouldn't be a big deal.
