Not listed here, but Larson wrote another article about the whole Leroux brou-ha-ha. Much of what he wrote was based on posts lifted directly from the Voyageurs site. Seems a bit lazy, but I guess that is what passes for journalism these days.

Just say NO to Friendlies.

When Toronto FC is so dominant that we need to see how we match up against other top Clubs, then we can have friendlies.

there is no need to risk injury for the few bucks that these events make.

The two biggest things that have worn out their welcome in this town are Rob Ford and big name TFC friendlies.

They are really forcing that Orlando market into MLS. I wonder if they will ramp up preseason even more as hosts...

Just thank God they don't book Orlando for the friendly.

Right now OC would kick our asss.

REMEMBER THIS ABOUT the on field product and MLSE...They are not cheap...THEY are HOPELESSLY Incompetent.

Oh c'mon it's not that bad... It's a football team in South America....

It's not like he wrote "...I had to look up what the clitoris & G-spot are and why she kept telling me to find the damn things!..."

You have it backwards. We shouldn't have friendlies unless we have nothing to play for in the season (like this season).

Yeah, just what MLS needs, A tacky backwater tourist trap located in a dumbshit of a state that'll be fucking hotter than hell in the summertime.

And they think someone like Kaka would be dying to play there?

If, God forbid, they get a team, and once the novelty wears off, Orlando will draw flies there like every other pro team in Florida. Orlando has Columbus South written all over it.

Orlando city draws 9k while playing in USL. Unless they go into TFC like crapulence, Orlando will have a healthy attendance

Suuure they will. I'd like to know how much of that attendance in that Tier 2 of theirs is actually paid and what is papered. I don't trust anything coming out of Florida. That state makes Ohio look sane and intelligent by comparisson - and that's not saying much.

Agreed on your assessment of Florida, Redcoe. That state makes Ohio look almost civilized. Almost.
