Crap
Too bad they couldn't keep him, now they'll automatically have an upgrade at that spot.
Reda would be an upgrade over Xavier

It goes to show the quality of LA's back 4 when a wet behind the ears rookie is by far their best defender.

NY is not far behind with their back 4, basically the TFC reject squad

So his paid-holiday is finally over? Meh...I wish someone paid me for being a hindrance to my company and live in LA for more than a year. That would be my dream job.

As a sometime-supporter of France, I wish to thank him for all his efforts in world football, especially at Euro 2000

Rumour has it that he has been signed by the California Highway Patrol as their DP (Designated Pylon).

An empty space would be an upgrade over Xavier: at least you know it wouldn't do anything and you can play with that in mind. :D

I cant forgive him for that moron play of his @ euro2000 as he cost us the tourney, we had the great Baia in net and everything was possible as even Nuno Gomes at that time knew how to score goals.

But this guy has passed it seems trough every league 12 clubs in 18 years,

12 clubes em 18 anos

Épocas Clube Jogos/golos
1990/1993 Estrela Amadora 84/5
1993/1995 Benfica 46/4
1995/1996 Bari (Itália) 8/0
1996/1998 Oviedo (Espanha) 58/0
1998/1999 PSV (Holanda) 19/2
1999/2001 Everton (Inglaterra) 127/0
2001/2002 Liverpool (Inglaterra) 14/1
2002 Galatasaray (Turquia) 11/0
2003/2004 Hannover (Alemanha) 5/0
2004/2005 Roma (Itália) 3/0
2005/2007 Middlesbrough (Inglaterra) 18/1
2007/2008 LA Galaxy (EUA) 20/0
1993/2002 Selecção de Portugal 20/2

:noidea: I got to give him credit as that hair might have gotten him an extra 5 years more into his pro career as it should have been over at least 5 years ago.

.

when I have never seen a player before, I usually get worried about him nonetheless when he has been at a different club every year.
It always suggests the guy has potential but has some problems that every coach could do without. nobody really wants to go out on a limb and keep the guy.

But it also shows that if L.A. are wiling to drop him mid-season and eat his contract, we should be willing to do the same with Cunny.

If he is turing into locker room cancer then cut him... otherwise he can keep the bench nice and warm for those fall games at BMO. If his contract is guaranteed then we stand absolutely nothing to gain by cutting him and eating his salary.

Well,
It goes to show the quality of our strikers when a wet behind the ears rookie is by far our best striker
