I think Oduro was the best but what a free kick from Will Johnson

I voted Johnson to help ensure a Portland player wins every week so MLS can see what a farce this voting is. Not that it was a bad goal.

I don't think MLS cares about ballot stuffing it's more about promoting their product.

Week 8 Power Rankings

1. Houston
-Fortress BBVA. Nuff said

2. Dallas
-Shame about idiot Dallas fan throwing a bottle hitting George John, but a good win against LA proving that Dallas is for real.

3. Los Angeles
-Couldn't break down a well organized Dallas team. CCL hangover version 2?

4. Kansas City
-Nice bye week to sort out the kinks, but has two games this week.

5. Montreal
-The pitch looked terrible at Stade Saputo. But a draw vs Columbus was a fair result.

6. Vancouver
-Still getting draws, but gotta do better if they are going to stay competitive in Western Conference.

7. Chivas USA
-Losing against an injury ridden Colorado team is not good.

8. Columbus
-Did well to get a draw in Montreal. Oduro may be inconsistent, but he's where the offence is coming from right now.

9. Portland
-Scrappy game but Portland does enough to win vs San Jose.

10. San Jose
-The Bash Brothers may be back, but they look out of synch and Wondo was ineffective.

11. Seattle
-Not being able to beat New England at home is shameful. And the offence is non existent.

12. Real Salt Lake
-What a cracker of a goal by Garcia.

13. Colorado
-A PK goal and a lot of hanging on for Colorado to get a result away from home. Pareja's philosophy finally taking effect?

14. New York
-Henry is happy again after clinical win at RFK. Even Roy Miller played well.

15. Philadelphia
-Not winning at home vs TFC might as well be a loss. Though Jack McInerney is turning into one helluva striker.

16. Toronto
-A draw that feels like a win and a loss at the same time... Collect enough pts to stay competitive for summer reinforcements?

17. New England
-Scrappy draw away at Seattle is a result that Heaps can build on.

18. Chicago
-Hard to get a result at Houston, but Chicago won't be happy not being able to be more competitive.

19. DC United
-Something is really wrong in DC...

I think Seattle should be further done, maybe just above us. Question marks over all their additions to the club this season and Yedlin shouldn't be starting.

Yedlin has been amazing in CCL. He needs to bulk up, but this kid is legit

Also, douchebaggery at Portland by SJ supporters

I voted Johnson because he's Canadian and I want to see him start taking set pieces like that for Canada.

Yes please.

I think Seattle should definitely be behind RSL and Colorado.

They have stunk it up and are not finding the back of the net.

I really shouldn't have, but I took into account their CCL run :p

And I really expect Seattle to do better once Eddie Johnson and Martins start clicking

KC v LA is easily the juiciest match of the week.

KC will be on short rest coming into the match going up against a quality opponent on full rest. If KC come out with full points this week there is no doubt that they are the best team in the league. They stumbled out of the gate but this could be a statement week to the league that KC is the favorite many thought they were coming into the season.

Scariest thing about KC is that Kei Kamara is still on loan.

Bendik up for save of the week

I don't even think it is close for save of the week this week. It is Bendik by a long shot. The other saves were all good saves but Hamid's was right at him, low but at him. Johnson's was nice but he was well in position and just had to time his jump. Rimando's and Fernandez's were quality saves but I feel as you see those made regularly.

If I were an attacking player I would feel as though I was robbed of goal on Bendik's save more than the others.

Alan Gordon suspended for 3 games for using a gay slur. Plus 1 game for red card received, he's sitting out 4 games

That makes me so happy...

Although, he is on my fantasy team and bagged 15pts for me, but he is a limp dick goat fucker.

LA does a Mourinho era Chelsea. 2 goals off of slips by defenders.

Sounders get a W which is good for them but it wasn't convincing. Colorado hasn't been too bad this season and were missing Brown and Buddle as options up top. Seattle has to figure this out or they will be missing the playoffs.

WOW! DC! REALLY? It is shocking how poor they have been defensively this season. They really don't look like they belong in the league. Korb is awful, McDonald isn't much better. When half you back line plays that bad you don't stand a chance. On the other side of the field they aren't playing much better. This was their 3rd and 4th goals of the SEASON this week. Pajoy has been below average and Carlos Ruiz hasn't scored as a sub in 500+ minutes. At that point, if he isn't going to start for you why have him on the team? They brought in Rafael as a young DP but he hasn't seen a tonne of action.

Outside of the 2 goals v Portland DC's goals have been suspect. Pajoy was offside for his 1st and Rafael score from 40 yards out because the keeper was out of position. You were right Yohan, something is very wrong in DC right now.

Jakovic was extremely poor on the McInerney goal. He gave the ball away and then he didn't even try to recover. Dire.

Week 8 Power Rankings for me

1. Dallas - They keep rolling on, don't they?
2. LA - Landycakes is back. Dominated SKC.
3. Kansas City - Slip up away from home against a good LA team.
4. Houston - Question marks when they are away from the Oven. That's the second time they've been dominated in a game.
5. Montreal - Bye
6. New York - Steam rolled the Revolution. Petke slowly putting his mark on the team
7. Real Salt Lake - Good result against Chivas. All around solid team but Sabo needs a proper strike partner.
8. Philadelphia - Casey and McInerney have become a great partnership.
9. Chivas USA - Looks like they're getting found out.
10. Portland - Porter also making the team his own with lots of exciting young players.
11. San Jose - Lucky to get away with a draw at home. Wondo hasn't done much the last 2 games.
12. Columbus - Beaten by a mediocre Chicago team. Higuain hasn't had the same form.
13. Vancouver - Poor away from home. Question marks over Rennie's squad selection.
14. Toronto - Another draw but fixtures have been tough.
15. Seattle - Martins scored what will be the first of many (baring injury).
16. Colorado - Very inexperienced team which costs them a bunch of results.
17. Chicago - First win. Very mediocre though. Other than Rolfe there isn't a lot going forward.
18. New England - Where are the goals going to come from?
19. DC United - Olsen looks like he's lost the dressing room.
