HE
PULLED...

THE
DUNFIELD!
The impossible, The Improbable, ...Well that's unexpected. Did that just happen?

http://i.usatoday.net/sports/_photos/2012/07/11/Dunfields-late-winner-lifts-Toronto-2F1RK96Q-x-large.jpg

1. Terry Dunfield: His last-second header propelled the Reds to a 3-2 victory over the Whitecaps, in 2011. His over the top celebration can only be described as legendary.

2. Darrell Russell: Summoned "The Dunfield" by scoring a late game golazo to pull TFC even with FC Dallas, in a 2-2 draw. His over the top celebration Dunfield-esque.

*Video will come soon.

Well...

Yesterday's game was one of the best tie's we have seen at home... Second only to the Mystic Legend himself... Danny Dichio vs New England in 2007.

Is this serious? Jeez, if you want to wind people up, why not call it "The Cunningham", after all he once scored an exciting winning goal in the 89th minute.

yes, end of match goals with 'over the top celebrations' that get us points is shocking and should not be tolerated.

imho...that was 30sec. that could have been better used trying to score #3 for the win, followed by a well deserved Macarena....

Going to be a prick and say it. The Dunfeild occurred in 2012 and not 11. And the answer for your poll is YESeven though I still use the term Terry Fuc'n Dunfeild

I wouldn't call Russel's celebration "over the top". I would call it completely appropriate! I personally celebrated just as insanely as Russel (I grabbed the guy next to me, no idea who he was, haha!).

I hope the whole team can aspire to one of these.

We haven't had enough of those "celebrate like an idiot" type moments at TFC!

Best memory is Oxford away at Notts Forest in the FA Cup, around 1996. Oxford eqalise to take it to a draw in the last minute. My father and I went completely nuts. I jumped on the seat, while my father (who was about 55 at the time) got caught up in the moment and ended up on the field with the goalscorer Stuart Massey with about 50 other Oxford fans going nuts. Awesome!

Greatest of all Time... Danny Dichio... Scored the first! Scored the last! First and only ever pitch invasion!

I voted 'other' because I think it is more appropriate to call it 'A Dunfield' and not 'The Dunfield'

I think I still have injuries from when that one went in.

Speaking of which, I haven't seen the highlights of that goal in a long time. Anybody got a link?

That's the one video I found... But it contained other goals. There must be that single highlight clip! And why does it look like it was recorded on a cellphone lol

Agreed. I had one son with me for the first, the other one with me for the last. Fantastic memories.
