But TFC is owned by Rogers ... no?
They probably want to get some TFC/MLS games onto their Sportsnet World on-line service and get their SSH signing up there where they can maximize profits.

There are Firefox and Google Chrome browser plugins that bypass ip blocking, not sure if you were aware. I'm using Media Hint so I can get netflix.com content.

I found a way around this... unblock-us.com a company out of Toronto.


Try it free for a week, after that it's $5 a month....

Definitely worth it if you want the american version of netflix instead of the Canadian version which doesn't have the same shows or movies.

I just tried it out, I haven't paid yet, but it seems to work. The TFC vs VWFC game is no longer blacked out, instead the Houston vs DC United is blacked out because the MLS Live site thinks I'm in the Eastern US instead of Canada.

By the way, you can change which location your computer appears to be at will. So if you want the Houston game all you have to do is make it look like you are in Canada. It's all really easy to do from the unblock-us website...
