I'll be there. I thought it was interesting that they want TFC kits and International Scarves.

The event has a dress code?

'Suggested attire' would be more like it I think. If only they made kits that fit...

I rec'd a response but it was to tell me that I didn't get an invite.

Interestingly, in spite of the "overwhelming demand" for SSHs to attend, TFC is offering admission to the "**First twenty-five (25) pre-purchasers of the 2013 Toronto FC home jersey between February 15, 2013 and February 26, 2013 will receive a pair of tickets to the Toronto FC Season Kickoff Party on February 26, 2013 at Berkeley Church. One pair of tickets to be distributed per purchase order." <- from http://shop.realsports.ca/detail/2217

Not cool at all.

I agree... I did really want to go and was hoping I would get an invite, but realistically I knew my chances were slim given the amount of season ticket holders. However finding out that buying a jersey (which I've never seen before) may potentially get me admission is sort of a kick to the gut. I guess being a loyal season ticket holder is just not good enough anymore.... NOT COOL!

^There's probably others invited to the Kickoff party as well, like sponsors, partners, etc. etc. Those 25 pre-purchasers are probably pretty minor in the grand scheme of things.

agreed...i accept there was an overwhelming demand, but to hold out tickets from ssh, that is wrong

Once again, TFC FO finds a way to piss of fans/supporters. Hopefully Payne is aware about this and kicks some ass in TFC FO.

Agreed, but that's not the point. I get keeping sponsors happy, partners happy (you gotta pay the bills), but for me, this seems to be stretching it.

But TFC FO can easily hold an event for sponsors and partners only while hold a separate event for fans only.
