Who wants to take a shot at this? So far I see a few players I don't recognize:

- Left of Frings, white cleats
- Far right #28 - Taylor Morgan from Mason, who we drafted in the supplemental
- First to left of #28 in TFC shirt
- 2nd to left of #28 in blue

" It's hard work, it's organisation, it's repetition, it's a lot of training."

Heard that before somewhere.

Found this on the V's board.

Jonathan Lao, who you might remember as one of the 3 kids who left TFC Academy a couple years ago, on the importance of playing abroad:

http://lastwordonsports.com/2013/01/26/canadian-connections-jonathan-lao-on-the-importance-of-playing-abroad/

“If a young Canadian truly wants to play professional football as a career, I would recommend going overseas at a young age. Going at a young age allows young Canadians to feel what its like to sacrifice instead of having everything given to them. This will help the players to get a stronger mentality, which I find lack in a lot of Canadian youth players.”

And another general article about his opinion on Canadian soccer: http://lastwordonsports.com/2013/01/27/hope-is-in-the-horizon-for-canadian-soccer/

Nelsen's last stand at QPR
Manchester City hosts Queens Park Rangers in a battle of second-best vs. last place.
It also marks the end of the career of New Zealand defender Ryan Nelsen, who plans to retire after this match in order to take over as coach of Toronto FC.
Last week, Nelsen told local reporters in Toronto that he plans to join the Reds in Florida on Feb. 1 for its pre-season training, leaving no doubt that he was calling it a career after Tuesday's visit to the league champions.
But QPR boss Harry Redknapp seemed to have other ideas, telling the English media he wanted Nelsen to delay his retirement so he could play for the Hoops against visiting Norwich City on Saturday.
"I need to speak to Ryan, I need him here for the Norwich game," Redknapp said. "I thought we were talking March 1 when I spoke to Ryan last. Suddenly this has all changed. I'm hoping we can put it back a few days."

...why tf would you post yourself singing in your PJs? I'm no guitar afficianado (sp), but sounds like he can play. Can't sing worth crap. But compared to soccer chants he's decent. Guy loves his team, gotta give some credit.

At least Hassli doesn't look out of shape and should be good to go from the start (if he sticks around that is).
