Oh shit its on MLS Rumours? I'm so glad the deal is finally confirmed beyond any reasonable doubt...

...but yeah, his signing has been imminent for quite a while now. Wouldn't surprise me if MLS Rumours got it right this time around.

Probably Dunivant, but it would look pretty ridiculous getting rid of a guy while he's injured.

I like Todd .... reliable player. But whatever is best for the team.

I really hope the delay in an official announcement is due to pending roster moves to accomodate Dickov's signing as opposed to this saga ending up like the situation with Huckerby. At this stage in his career, Paul Dickov is not a saviour, but he can still be the offensive catalyst to help TFC qualify for the playoffs...

Didn't we got an international spot for Huckerby?
What's the waiting for the confirmation of Dickov then?

Saw this today on Goal.com :

"The Blackpool Gazzette is citing "sources close to the player" as revealing that the 35-year-old has chosen the Seasiders ahead of former club Leicester and MLS side Toronto FC.

Dickov had joined Blackpool on loan from Manchester City last January and scored half a dozen goals during the six-month spell which proved vital in the club's fight against relegation in the Coca Cola Championship.

According to the reports, Dickov was swayed by the offer of a player/coaching role, meaning that he would already be well on his path towards a career in managment, while having the added perk of extending his playing das.

Dickov is officially out of contract after having been deemed surplus to demands at Manchester City at the start of the summer."

Nothing confirmed yet but sounding like another one bites the dust. Kind of seems like were being used.

Wow. Mo has a horrible case of transferrus interruptus.

Wow. Mo has a horrible case of transferrus interruptus.

this happens with all clubs, everywhere in the world. Agents use one club against another.

Obviously. And it will happen to us more because we're a bad team in a no-name league.

I'd sooner dump Marshall, but that's just me.

I have to be honest that the current crop of supposed strikers comming to TFC do not impress me, I am not expecting Anelka or Toni, but this bunch I am realy not sure of. I woudl rather get an older established finisher.

agree...Tibily and JJ are the best 2 CBs for my money. JJ has been rock solid every match I've seen him in. Marco Velez has been dedent most matches too, and with Nana Atokoya Gyan plus Jimmy B able to cover CB if need be, we have options in this position.
