Who's your favourite player in TFC history? A bit off topic but all in good fun.

Chad Barrett is up there for me, wore the red shirt with pride.

In all seriousness, Doneil Henry. He was a beast in that second leg upset against Montreal. He willed TFC to victory that day. He's got the potential to become something really big.

Has to be Dichio for me. Not a fantastic player by any means, but the memory of that first ever TFC goal will live with me forever. That's one of my best ever memories (not just in football, but all of life!). The last goal of that season against NE was equally as special.

Typical Toronto fans, our best player has only been mentioned once.

And no, i don't mean Kevin Harmse.

If this were a Leaf thread, i doubt Sundin would make the first page either.

I haven't been inspired by any of our players to date to the point were I can say that he was my favourite TFC player of all-time. None of them have been around for any notable length of time to even mention.

My ranking:

1. No one
2. De Rosario (but his tenure was too short)
3. Koevermans (but again, his tenure is to short to be considered as a "franchise player")

SIDE NOTE: This thread highlights the failure of this club over the last 6 years on so many levels. Please Mr. Payne, make this right.

This guy right here. I had my moments when I was mad at him, but the moments that I loved him far outweighed them. Our hometown boy who wore that crest with a ferocity and pride that have been matched by almost no other (Danny D was another who wore it with heart). I still remember DeRo going after that Chivas (I think?) player who was taunting us and giving him the finger wag in the face as in "don't fuck with my supporters".

1. Jimmy Brennan

I know he gets shit on a lot around here. Still to me, nothing tops Jimmy's first season here playing through 2 broken ribs and a broken wrist. Almost played every single minute if it wasn't for a late season knee injury. His gol vs Columbus from the free kick is still my favourite TFC goal.

2. Amado Guevara

Added another dimension to our attack. Creative in the center of the park, and a dead eye shot on free kicks. I wish we could have added a few more pieces to help share the offensive load when he was here, he seemed like he coulda been a big-game type player had we snuck into the play offs.

3. Dwayne De Rosario

Fantastic on set pieces. Powerful shot. Gave a shit about the team and its fans.
