looks good, seems like they're serious about getting an MLS franchise off the ground. it's like ive been saying, start off in the NASL, move up.
it's a million times easier to get investors on board when you've already established yourself.

The thing is if Tampa gets an MLS, Orlando will have to be content with staying in NASL or it could be possible they may have to shut their doors eventually taking away from another market

Orlando is in USL but it will certainly be intriguing as both Tampa and Orlando want teams. Poor Miami.

Don't know if it could possibly be feasible, but wouldn't it be cool to have clubs in each of those cities and have something reminiscent to the Cascadian rivalries.

I have seen where this stadium is going to be built.
This would be unreal.
Another excuse to go to the BURGH!
It's right by the River close to downtown, station square & south side (major party areas) trust me
This a must for a roadtrip.

We even had the full front sponsor of STANDARD LIFE and three kits, made us feel like big shots... LOL

I was down in Tampa (St Petersburg) for the second leg of the NASL final this year. Great crowd (about 6,000 in an old baseball stadium) great night and really good atmosphere. I hope they move up. I think the price point for tickets and the history of the game in Tampa would make this a success for quite a few years. Also the crowd was surprisingly young. I think they would have a good chance of being successful.

Pretty much. I've heard that this is only being done so the Cosmos can force MLS into accepting them as the team. Makes sense.

Another stadium designed by gridiron thinking architects, without thinking of end sitting supporters. Phase 1 should have subbed the roof over the one end for end seats on the one side.

It DOES look nice. At least Phases 3 and 4. I have my doubts Edmonton would actually end up going all the way to Phase 4 in construction, but I have to wonder if it was included in the proposal because they are considering a bid for MLS sometime in the future?

Orlando City SC very close to stadium deal now. Orlando city council has to obtain one more parcel of land on the site, then the project proceeds. OCSC is forging ahead and their strategy seems to be that they will force Garber's hand on Team 20. Risky but could work.
