When will ML$E realize this and the inability to find a competent manager and/or president are the reasons we are such a failure

Mods, feel free to move this to the TFC section, I didn't know how to classify this :)

The article points to all Canadian clubs.

It failed to mention the same issues at Portland and Philly too. Seems there is a lot of coaching changes in the MLS with struggling teams.

Our record is bad, not denying that. Its a rock and a hard place for TFC - if they fire Mariner that mantle intensifies, if they don't, well Mariner. Promote from within?

Mo Johnston- A failed season and he was promoted. This guy got his shot by being the director of football during the 2008-10 seasons.
John Carver- Should of gotten more support from MoJo. JC left on his own accord.
Chris Cummins- Regardless of whether he was in charge, he should of been kept. He didnt get fired he left.
Preki- He was run out of town based on his BS. Fired along with MoJo
Nick Dasovic- He should of gotten a shot. He was bi-passed.
Aron Winter- He was doomed to fail with lack of support from Paul Mariner and Co. He was fired.
Paul Mariner- He is on the verge of being run out of town. Its inevitable that he will be fired along with Earl Cockhrane.

Even though Johnston's tenure as Director of Football was flawed he was the wrong person to be in charge of bringing in players, because he was never a competent manager. So how can someone with so little success be in charge of manager and tell him what to do. So Carver left and Cummins wasn't impressed with the position either. Preki, was a mess, IDK if he was pushed into hiring Preki or if MOJO did it on his own but it was his undoing.

The Dasovic hiring was a fan pleasing gesture.

Aron Winter's tenure was handicapped from the beginning by Paul Mariner and Earl Cochrane. He should of been given leaniancy and allowed to fail and recover during the next transfer window. Winter was the right guy to be named Director of Football, if there was a person who MLSE should of supported by all means it should of been Aron. Firing Mariner I dont think would be as bad as the Aron Winter Omnidebacle. If anything was a warning to Managers about the current FO it was the Winter Firing in mid-season.

So now we have a guy with no history in coaching telling Mariner what to do? Whats Mariner's next excuse, Earl suggested this team and I had no input?

MLSE will recognize it as a failure when revenues drop and they deem it a failure. Up until now the team has made money, so MLSE has not deemed it a failure.
