Something is not right,why would TFC website write about Fring is expected to be back in 2013 when he has a contract for 2013?

If everything was ok and Frings did not tell them to Fu*k off,there would not be a need for article like that,of course he is expected he has a contract ,unless....

Similar situation is with Plata,he has a contract but for some strange reason Earl Cochrane said at media scrum how they will go to Ecuador to talk with him and negotiate with Plata to come back,WHY? He has a contract,contract that TFC paid $500K to get him,why not just tell him to be here in January/February 2013.

Typical MLSE move,I bet you guys Mariner will trade 1st round pick for experienced MLS player,and I would not be surprised if we see some other promising Canadian youngsters being on the trade block too.Mariner will do whatever it takes to save his job and if that means destroy TFC long term success,so be it.Mariner knows if he does not stand in play off spot by July,he is gone,short term is all about Mariner,Cochrane and Anselmi think about right now.

My cynical side thinks this is just fodder for season ticket renewals. The Frings story is a fluff piece because people were questioning his abscence from the season end press conference.
