We always knew it was going to be hard in Panama. It's just that we had high hopes after the win in Toronto.

Chicago hopes to continue surge in Toronto
Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - The Chicago Fire have won four of their last five MLS matches to climb the Eastern Conference standings, but manager Frank Klopas was still cautious ahead of a trip to Toronto FC on Wednesday.
Chicago could overtake the Houston Dynamo and Red Bull New York and surge into second place behind Sporting Kansas City with a win, but Klopas admitted "we can't get comfortable and relaxed."
The Fire (13-8-5) have turned into one of the better teams in the league since the calendar turned to August, but they cannot overlook TFC (5-16-6).
"Right now we're in a good spot; we're in a good spot because we don't have to rely on other teams. We have to worry about ourselves," Klopas said.
"We need to keep going and improving and working just as hard and be ready for the next game because everything we worked on up to this point can change very quickly."
Chicago has at least one match in hand on all four teams above it in the East, but if it wastes its chance to claim three points against Toronto, the rest of the season will take on added importance.

Toronto, where anything less than 3 points for the away team is a disaster.

oh, it's pretty much known league wide that we're the whipping boys of MLS. from my time on r/MLS and bigsoccer, everything ive read is akin to disappointment if another team comes up with anything other then a win against us.

on the flipside, we're also pitied because of our continued support, and have gained a fairly good reputation as supporters for still showing dedication to the team despite it's constant abysmal performance.

so we're pretty much west brom.

Sadly with one massive difference...financially we are the MLS equivlent of...say Manchester United.

I do not what to be pitied, I want us to be hated and feared on and off the pitch. I do not want to be liked by other supporters I want us to be hated and envied.

We don't have the best support anymore in MLS. Teams like Portland and Seattle even Kansas now crowds are full and LOUD. Seattle and Portland are busting out wicked Tifos. Are stadium at times has lots of empty seats and sometimes atmosphere is not loud. That said the fact we can even have +16,ooo fans a game is amazing after the prices and pure shit performance over 6 years we have had to deal with. The fact anyone in Toronto still gives a shit is impressive. The fact that once in a while (LA vs Toronto for example) we can still pull out a jumbo banner, flags, Tifo display is impressive. Really interresting to see what happens next year tho, times are getting tougher for TFC fans, i think this breaking point for many.

The stadium tonight looked like Columbus or Dallas.
