I hope your right, but wonder if the success thus far would be forgotten if we do not keep doing well. Most in this country know very little of the sport. A poor performance at the WC or next round would cause most to say "we suck at football" like is usually heard. For us this successful campaign will last until the next one. For most, our national jersey is barely known. CITY-TV will pick up and/or say anything to get people to tune in.

This hurts to type this, but feel like it may happen.

Apparently MLS isn't pro sport or else ML$E would have the two worst pro sports teams in the ranking (TFC and Leafs) with Raptors at 103rd out of 122.

So would the Leafs be worse than TFC, or vice versa? I'm thinking Leafs would be in last and TFC in second last because the Leaf ticket prices and value for dollar are that much worse.

Some of this article is quite funny.. According to Burke, ESPN doesn't know anything about hockey. I think after 4 years under Burke and 8 years in total for ML$E without a playoff game, it begs to question who actually knows more about hockey, ESPN or ML$E.. ESPN just has to look at the results and entertainment dollar value for the fans and it's pretty clear who has a better grip on reality in regards to this ranking.. Anselmi and Burke are baffled. Lol... The only thing these two are baffled about is how to produce a competitive team.. Their baffled, that's just too funny. I have an idea let's promote the baffled ones... :facepalm:
