Its funny how thats not a TFC or MLS related website and they chose to go with the pic with the most amount of violence. That O'Dea is really having fun tackling people to shreds.LOL.

Since it is a slow day, here's one to discuss. TFC and the Leafs have a lot in common, like trading the future for hope of a short term fix.

Imagine if TFC kept its draft picks? Here's what we gave up and what we got and why this practice must be stopped:

a lot of what ifs... and untold stories
08: TFC swapped Mulrooney for Goldthwaite and 14th pick in 1st round, later swapped with RSL for Cunty, which would have been a very good deal for TFC if Cunty scored like his goal scoring record showed. TFC also had 2 other first rounders (Phelan and James)
09: Nobody knew Pontius is going to turn out into a solid pick... and White was going to tank in MLS considering his amazing NCAA scoring stats. TFC could have ended up picking Peri Marosevic or Rodney Wallace too.
10: Zach Loyd is marginal US MNT player who has 3 caps for USMNT... which was during the period when USMNT coaches call up MLS mostly instead of regulars. Not a big deal. Not saying he's junk though

My point is this. Try to cut down on 'what ifs', and tell the whole story, not just the tidbits that suits your purpose. (and maybe a less hard on for NCAA, which you basically need a crystal ball and a fortune teller to tell who is going to be good or junk)

Because it takes a "five year plan" to become a winner in MLS, somehow the Limpact are 1 point outside a playoff spot:

Agreed, there are a lot of what ifs. Saprong was taken before Bruin, etc, etc. That's kind of the thing about the draft though. It's a what if game. The big message is that if you don't pick, you never play.

And by trading them, you are relying on the Academy as your primary and perhaps only source of young talent. Lots of what ifs there too.

This is a blog, not news, and should be posted in the blogs section per board rules. Thank-you.

3 pts after losing a 6 pointer vs columbus, who has 3 games in hand vs mtl, and are on a hot streak as well

also, how about Kansas City's 3 yr plan? lol
