Thanks for the add Petor, "interesting" article, I thought we lost that game 3-1, and I didn't realize Hall got the call on merit.

I found that interesting too, in that article I found a link to another interesting article that's a few weeks old...

Could Russell join Hall and Lambe? (http://bermudasun.bm/main.asp?SectionID=8&subsectionID=203&articleID=59968)

from the article...

“We will be inviting Toronto FC’s coaching staff down at the end of the MLS season and they will be particularly looking at our young players.”
Mariner is in the midst of rebuilding the club. He took over as head coach on June 7 after Aron Winter stepped down when Toronto started the season with nine losses.

"Hall said he would rate his performance as “decent” in those contests but “I think I am the harshest critic when it comes to my performances. I think there is room for improvement; however, I have to look at it and realize I have just played three games."

LOL... Clearly he hasn't found this board yet..

That article is old and Russell didn't make the cut.

But you're right, Mariner needs to stop looking at Bermuda for players. I personally think Mariner has inside deal with Bermuda FA or something like that. Conflict of interest? Worth investigating if I was a journalist. ;)

Something definetley worth looking into. I really wonder how he got into that region in the first place.

Apologies. It was Barbados, not Bermuda. Still, it's proof that Toronto FC are looking to pick up players from Caribbean countries and are primarily scouting that area.
